Attention all Mackinac Island Participants:

There will be a brief meeting today at 11:15 in the Middle School Science Lab for EVERYONE that is attending the trip. We will be going over final details before Thursday.

ATTENTION all Middle school students!

There will be a game night at PJ's Pizzeria on Saturday, May 15th from 7 to 10 p.m. for only $4 per ticket. Games such as Wii (Just Dance, Sport, etc.), Twister, board games, and karaoke! You can buy your tickets at the Spartan Arena, and at the door.

HS Student Council

There will be a student council meeting on Tuesday, May 18 at 7:20am in Mr. Stoneback's classroom. Any 8th grader who was elected or chosen to be on student council next year is encouraged to attend. Doughnuts and juice will be shared by all!

FLOWER SALE

all students who sold flowers for the Mackinac Island trip, meet today at 11:15 in the Science Lab.

Cross Country Sign ups

Any student interested in running Cross Country next year, that will be in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in the fall, please sign-up. Sign up sheets are located in the middle school office, in Mr. Bailie's office, or in Coach Morand's classroom (129) in the senior hallway of the high school. There are also informational sheets available if you would like to learn more about the sport before you sign-up.

2010-11 STUDENT COUNCIL

Any 8th grade student who did not win an office on Friday but who would still like to be placed on Student Council for the 2010-2011 school year MUST attend a meeting on Wednesday at 7:20am in Mr. Stoneback's classroom. The door will lock at 7:20am so be on time or you will miss your opportunity.

9th GRADE STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTION

Elections for the 2010-2011 ninth grade student council will be held on Thursday during first hour. Check out the candidate profiles on the wall outside the library to make an informed decision on who you would like to represent you on student council next year.

JUNIOR EQUESTRIAN TEAM

Pinconning MIHA Junior Equestrian Team competed this past Saturday at Midland Fairgrounds placing 3rd. Our team consisted of Ali Milkowski (8th grade), Meagan Stenger (7th grade) and Alicia Adams (6Th grade at Central El). We competed against 56 riders. Our class C competitors were Northeast Middle School, Bay City Central and Freeland schools.

8th GRADE MACKINAC ISLAND PARTICIPANTS

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, April 20th, at 11:15 in the Middle School Science Lab. Everyone participating MUST attend. No exceptions. Information and participation forms will be given out. Also, we are in need of a parent with a trailer to haul bikes for the field trip. Money will be given to help cover gas. A reminder to all Middle School Students...Once you arrive at school in the morning, you must remain at school. If you leave the school grounds (campus) you will be written up for Disciplinary referral.

Drama Aladdin Shirt Orders

The last day to order Aladdin t-shirts and sweat shirts is Thursday, March 11th. Please see Mrs. Perrou if you need an order form or to turn in your completed form and money.

EQUESTRIAN TEAM

The Pinconning Equestrian Team is having a Jr. Team this year. The team will consist of 6th, 7th & 8th grade students. The show will be held April 17th at Midland Fairgrounds. Attention Middle School Staff and Students

Next Thursday, February 25th, Photo Factory will be here to take group pictures and candid shots for the yearbook. I will need boys and girls basketball, Packers Football, volleyball, student council, and chess club. It should only take about 20 minutes at most. Students will report back as soon as pictures are done.

A Little Taste of Italy Dinner

This Friday, January 29, from 4:30 - 7:30, in the Middle School gym, the Pinconning Spartan Band is holding their annual fundraiser dinner. On the menu is spaghetti, parmesan alfredo, garlic bread, green salad and homemade desserts. Come out and support the band by having dinner before the big game - boys JV and Varsity basketball against Standish!!
