7th Grade Volleyball

There will be an informational meeting for the 7th grade volleyball players on Tuesday Feb. 14, 2012 at 3:30 in the school library. This meeting will last approximately 15-30 min. It is necessary for players to attend.

Humane Society

The fund raiser for the Humane Society will end on Friday the 10th. So far we have had quite abit donated. Thanks to all who have supported this great cause.

Boys and Girls Club

The club will be open on Monday 2/20 from 9:00-4:30. It will be closed on Feb. 29. There is alot of things going on at the club. I have fliers in the middle school office for them. There is a basketball league for ages 10-12 on Tues., Thurs. and Sat. It costs 15.00 (cash only) for members. Sign up deadline is Sat. 2/25/12. Tues and Thurs will be from 5:30-7:15 and Sat. will be from 12:30-2:30. There will be a parent meeting on the 28th @5:30. It ends on 3/31 with a banquet.

There will be a Cabin Fever Parents VS Members Activity Day on Saturday, Feb. 18th from 1:30-3:00. There will be Speedball, WII Bowling, Dodgeball, Air Hockey Shootout, Free Throw Contest and lots of food and drink. Parents please pre register by Feb. 15th. Thank you.

7th grade Volleyball

The 7th grade vb team will start practice on the 20th in the ms gym at 3:30. They will need their physicals done and slip turned in to the office by that date. There is also a fee of 40.00 that needs to be paid by the first game. If you are free or reduced lunch the participation fee is waived. If you believe that you are but you are not sure, please check with Mrs Ross the food director and she will give your child a slip to turn in to the bookstore to have the fee waived.

There will be volleyball practice for the 8th graders on Monday the 13th at Central Elementary from 3:30-5 and on Thursday the 16th from 6-8 at Central Elementary. Any questions please call Coach Lafave.

Humane Society

There is a box outside the middle and high school offices for donations to the Humane Society. They are asking for anything for animals. Food, Liter, toys anything pertaining to pets. You can send in monetary offerings also.

Jean Drive

The high school is sponsoring an old jean drive. If you have any old jeans please send them in. When they donate them they will receive a coupon for Aeropostale.

High School Coming Home

Students remember your Delta College Career Day permission slips are due to Ms. Judy or the counseling office no later then this Thursday April 14, 2011. Those turned in after that date will not be accepted!! Permission slips were sent home with report cards last Friday.

Middle School Softball Team

Pinconning Middle School is considering having a 7th and 8th grade softball team this spring and would like to know how many girls are interested. The team is not affiliated with the school and is considered a club sport. Please sign up at the book store Wednesday through Friday this week if you are interested. Pinconning MIHA Junior Equestrian Team competed this past Saturday at Midland Fairgrounds placing 3rd. Our team consisted of Ali Milkowski (8th grade), Meagan Stenger (7th grade) and Alicia Adams (6Th grade at Central El). We competed against 56 riders. Our class C competitors were Northeast Middle School, Bay City Central and Freeland schools.

Picture day is this Friday, September 18th. Each student received a picture packet during orientation. If you are buying pictures bring this with you along with payment. If you need a new packet please get one from the office. All students will need to have their picture taken for their ID's and yearbook. Pictures will be taken in the Multi-purpose room behind the high school gym and you will be released over the PA system.
